19 days until Inauguration Day and it can’t come fast enough as we learned in just the last 24 hours of this publication of two terror attacks. One killing 15 in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve in what was a clear terror strike - complete with an ISIS flag on the rented truck used to mow down people on Bourbon Street and packed with explosives that thankfully didn’t detonate - and ending in a shoot-out.
The second in Las Vegas is less clear as I write, but the symbolism is unmistakable. A detonated Cyber Truck directly in front of the Trump Hotel, killing one.
Predictably as I was settling in to watch some football today, I ran across ABC News and snorted at this predictable, yet none-the-less absurd summary of what they claimed not to know well after the suspect had been identified. Watch:
