2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake He made him (Jesus) to be sin - who knew no sin - so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
Dearest Harrumphers,
Merry Christmas!
As we gather in the warmth of this holy season, let us reflect on the profound miracle of Christmas: the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In a humble manger in Bethlehem, God chose to enter our world, demonstrating His infinite love and humility.
This season reminds us of the light in the darkness, bringing hope, peace, and redemption. Jesus's birth signifies God's promise fulfilled, a beacon of salvation for all mankind. It is a celebration and a call to embody the virtues of love, compassion, and forgiveness that Christ exemplified. In these challenging times, where we've witnessed trials and tribulations, including attempts on Donald Trump’s life, his family’s home raided, and numerous politically motivated legal battles, we've also seen what many might consider providential guidance, leading us through the madness towards a brighter future.
As we gather around our tables, let us remember those who might be alone or struggling. Let's extend our warmth and fellowship, mirroring Christ's inclusivity. His message was one of unconditional love, urging us to forgive, heal, and unite. Christmas is more than festivities; it is an invitation to renew our faith, strengthen our community in His name, and extend His love to those in need.
As we exchange gifts this time, may each gift symbolize our commitment to share the greatest gift of all—the message of Christ's love and sacrifice. Let us pledge to live out the true meaning of Christmas throughout the year, with our lives serving as a testament to the joy of His coming. May we be peacemakers, healers, and bearers of hope, just as Jesus was and is for us, understanding that even through turmoil, there can be a guiding light, much like the star that led the wise men to Christ.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all this Christmas and always.
Your Christmas message was truly a blessing, Chris. You captured, to the t, what Christmas is all about , and where our thoughts and priorities should be. I was truly blessed by your message. I will be praying for you, Chris, this coming year, as you continue to speak the truth, always weighing it in light of the Word of God. Thank you for all you do for us, your listeners. May Jesus Christ be praised!
Merry Christmas to all of us Harrumpers, through the good and bad times, knowing that there is a greater power in charge of it all. Looking forward to continuing to listen to you, Chris, in your exciting new endeavor. You’ll be great! Happy New Year! See ya in 2025!
